Supporters of Chorus pro Musica's performance of Ernest Bloch's Avodath Hakodesh with a gift of $500 or more are invited to join us following the concert at a gala dinner reception within walking distance of John Hancock Hall. Your contribution also entitles you to a premium tcket to the concert.
A special guest at the reception will be Ernest Bloch's grandson, Ernest Bloch II, who is traveling from his home in Oregon to hear the concert. Also attending are Betsy Burleigh, the conductor of the concert and Music Director of Chorus pro Musica; Joshua Jacobson, Artistic Director of the Zamir Chorale of Boston; Richard Pittman, Music Director of New England Philharmonic; David Kravitz, baritone soloist in the Sacred Service; and Andrew Rindfleisch, composer of Kaddish Prayer, which was commissioned by Chorus pro Musica and premiered at the concert.
