AUDITION INFORMATION

Chorus pro Musica is an SATB chorus of approximately 80 singers. Rehearsals are mostly on Monday evenings 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM, at Old South Church, Copley Square in Boston, with occasional Tuesday rehearsal (Monday holiday) and additional rehearsals during concert weeks. The repertoire is choral music from the Renaissance to the present, with an emphasis on new and rarely performed choral music.

General auditions for the 2011-12 season have been completed, but applications to audition for last-minute openings are being considered. Please fill out the Musical Background form and send to Betsy Burleigh, Music Director. You will be notified by Saturday 9/10 if there is an opening in your voice part. If so, you will be asked to audition on Mon. 9/12 between 6:30 and 7:15. You will be notified on the spot and if accepted will be asked to stay for rehearsal that evening.
