Gregg Jacobson

Tenor Gregg Jacobson sang with Chorus Pro Musica as Beppe in last year‘s production of Pagliacci and is happy to be returning to perform the role of Remendado, which he has performed previously with Shreveport Opera. Gregg has spent the past two winters singing as an Apprentice Artist with the Sarasota Opera. This season he covered Borsa in Rigoletto and Barbarigo in I due Foscari. Gregg spent this past fall singing in his home state with the New Jersey Verismo Opera as Normanno in Lucia di Lammermoor. Other recent credits include Ferrando in Cosi fan tutte with Opera by the Bay, Soldier Hymie in the world premiere of Ricky Ian Gordon‘s opera Morning Star, and the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto with Brevard Opera Theatre.

Gregg is also active as a concert soloist, most recently performing as the tenor soloist in Britten‘s Cantata Misericordium with the Newburyport Orchestra. Gregg did his graduate work at New England Conservatory. He was last seen there playing the role of Laurie in Adamo‘s Little Women. Gregg also performed as Quint in The Turn of the Screw and Prince Charmant in Cendrillon while at NEC.
