Tenor Gregg Jacobson is making his Chorus Pro Musica debut as Beppe. This past winter, Gregg worked in Florida as an Apprentice Artist with the Sarasota Opera. Most recently, he played the role of Remendado in Shreveport Opera's production of Carmen. In the fall, he performed in Cosi fan tutte, playing the role of Ferrando with Boston's Opera by the Bay. Last summer, Gregg played Soldier Hymie in the world premier of Ricky Ian Gordon's opera Morning Star with Seagle Music Colony, as well as covering Almaviva in Il Barbiere di Siviglia. In the summer of 2005, Gregg was in Brevard, North Carolina, as a member of the Janiec Opera Company. There, he performed as the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto. Another favorite role is that of Nemorino, performed with Center City Opera in Philadelphia.
Gregg did his graduate work at New England Conservatory. He was last seen there in the role of Laurie in NEC's New England premier production of Adamo's Little Women. While there, he also performed the roles of Prince Charming in Cendrillon and Quint in The Turn of the Screw.
